I've seen La Cage's several behind the scenes on youtube and some clips but watching it in full production is one great experience!

La Cage is based on the 1973 French play of the same name by Jean Poiret, it focuses on a gay couple: Georges, the manager of a Saint-Tropez nightclub featuring drag entertainment, and Albin, his romantic partner and star attraction, and the farcical adventures that ensue when Georges's son, Jean-Michel, brings home his fiancée's ultra-conservative parents to meet them.

This time, it was custom made for Singapore by Singaporean. The lead cast was played by Ivan Heng as Albin and a diva Za Za at night and the setting was Tanjong Pagar, a local attraction in Singapore.

The 2 hour show was so heartwarming that all you need to do is laugh and wipe your tears as the storyline gets its defining moment when songs get emotional and act gets dramatic.

La Cage's hilarious nature never fails to awe the audience. With its  gender bending theme and beautiful casts, this play is one great experience gays and faghags alike shouldn't miss.

I was so blessed to have a generous boss who treats me a ticket at Esplanade.

Thank you boss. :)
