2011 Pride March was successfully held at Malate, Manila last December 3.
This year's pride was participated in by more than 1,500 delegates from 75 LGBT organizations in the Philippines.

This year's theme "Pride of the Orient" exemplifies the vision of Philippines' LGBT community to gain recognition in Asia and the world.

Celebrating pride for 17 years now, Philippine Pride March held every first Saturday of December is by far the largest gathering of LGBT organizations and the first of its kind in Asia.

Several other parade venues are also held in Baguio, Cebu and in Dumaguete.

With Task Force Pride's vision of uniting every LGBT community not only during the pride parade, I had hoped that next year's pride will be a simultaneous gathering of gays, lesbians, transgender and transvestites not just in Malate but all over the archipelago!

And with every LGBT's support, this vision will surely come into fruition!
