I’ve been bothered by some “attitude” both implied and imposed on some posts i read from bloggers all over the blogosphere. Some of which has a stunningly positive effect to my daily undertakings and ideals while there are few that i need not absorb, believe and even intend to trash them to the world of fiction (sana naging sci-fi writer ka na lang).

We blog almost anything under the sun, everything from the imaginary to the most vivid object percieved by our senses. We blog with humor, emotion, passion, fear, anxiety and almost all other complex emotions are implied or shown in our entries. We blog about personal stuffs, career, jobs, money, business, entertainment, politics and even the life of other people for scrutiny. Blog entries elicit laughter, pity, fear, anger and hate!

There are few blogging for bloggings sake! Others for entertainment, for stress relief, to ease boredom, to get bucks from paid ads, for friendship and some for blog stats!

Our entries can say a thousand words about our personal background. It would expose our political stand, show our intelligence and stupidity, and sometimes exposed our deepest darkest secrets. It would also reflect someone’s breeding, rearing, developmental defects, personality disorder, abnormal behaviour, fallacies and fantasies. You can be yourself and be transparent or feed your illusions and be anonymous!

Styles of writing also differ. Others are written with 5 W’s and 1 H, others are done verbatimly, some are done in the most perfect literary and some are done like scribbles in the sand or scratches of a lustful feline! They also differ in approaches. Most are done on a first person approach, others are narratives and others are hearsays! Some are done in fallacy to entice sympathy, inculcate a good impression and worst appeal to pity or argumemtum ad misericordiam-a fallacy frequently committed by desperate bloggers who need cash! A direct extortion with a cause! But no one would ever let go of a gramatically challenged entry be it in English, Tagalog or native tongue.

Blogging primarily has different functions.
Whatever they are.
Whoever their readers.
They differ in reason, logic and conviction!
Sounds like all three words are synonymous aint it? But hell, no!
And without these component, your conduct as a blogger is unbecoming.

Whether you like it or not, this is my blog!

I blog because I express myself here and it makes me happy, sounds stupid or childish but it is as it is. A fellow blogger in blogdrive who introduced me into this once said not to let your blog be your world. I do not really care how people view my blog as I just really want to express myself whether I am heard or not. One thing I have learnt yesterday after the incident, YOU CAN REALLY EARN GOOD FRIENDS HERE. Friends came in emailing and pm’d me asking how they could help restoring back my domain and blog.

My gawd gurl, i do love the way you write and construct your words, phrases and sentences whether in english or tagalog, true blooded-blogger hehehehe!

korek! we are free to express anyting we want for whatever purpose it may serve. mare naman binobola mo na namana ako! hahahahah kala ko pa naman sasabihin mo true blooded geisha! heheheh :D

at habang pumapalakpak ako, eh nosebleed din ako :(

i blog because i’ts therapeutic for me. if i don’t let my emotions, be it positive or negative, out.. i’ll go nuts. mahirap kaya ang nagsosolo sa disyerto. bonus na lang kung merong makakaintindi at makaka-relate sa sinasabi ko.

IMHO, the most important thing is how a blogger tells his story =)

asus! kaw ba nag nonosebleed? heheheh hindi naman cgro.. true! whatever your story, it can be best served to your readers on the manner of telling it. it can indeed convey a lot of emotions. magandang therapy yan. ganyan din ginagawa namin before sa mga pasyenteng depress para ma release anumang emosyong tinatago! :D

Mare, hinay hinay, relax. ilabas mo lang yan, tagal na kc natin walang counseling(beer) session eh,

meron ako insight kung bakit lumabas toh, bwahahhah,

“yaan mo sha, merong delusion of grandeur yung blogger na yun, naitim na payat na maliit pa ang burat, not to mention mukhang HIPON, mare, yaan mo shang palabasin na pinagnanasaaan sha ng lahat ng tao, bwaahhah”

remember in psychology, the more na mag BRAG ang isang tao, the more insecure ang loko, (trying to overcompensate)

My blog is called EMOTIONS OF A GODDESS. so what do you expect? recipe ng brownies?

bwahahahahhaha there’s always humor in your tongue be it in your post or comments. basta pag galing sa yong punyeta ka sumasakit betlogs ko! pinatawad ko na sya mare. tsaka i wont stoop on them. they do not deserve a genuine friendship from me. not to mention the looks that could possibly prove the long debated theory of charles darwin. hahahah nag bad!

mare, wa ako masay.. talagang all out na yan…. hindi na kita tatadyakan… next time, be less nice ha? it’s not wrong to protect one’s self so let them eat their own mess. isang malaking tadyak para sa isang iresponsableng blogger! mare, ang puso! we’re better than that at alam mo yan… tara… isang frap lang yan sa starbucks! hehehe!

uu na mare.. i got flirty, i got friendly, but see i learned!
lesson learned from a blogger! :D

    LOL @ Clio hahhaha

    ‘day!! englissssssssshhh!!!! ang ganda!

Seriously, no blogger is really superior to the other blogger.

This is a very nice digression from your usual subjects and I must add, a fitting critical analysis of a blog’s purpose to its writer. (Pampuno sa nosebleed ng ibang makakabasa… ;)

By the way, it’s argumentum ad misericordiam and not argumemtum ad misericordiam… I like the way you used it - fallacy created, para magmukhang kawawa for cash… hehehe…

    sheeeeett.. nosebleed ako dun ah!
hahahaha :D its a product of critical analysis and thinking, and extensive blog hopping to observe and extract their contents.. lol
thanks for the correction. hindi ko napansin yun honestly..hehehhe :D

    thanks :D

I couldn’t agree more. the things that you’ve mentioned are the realities in blogging…

you might have noticed that my posts are becoming so serious. and that’s the way i want them published. i admit that i’m not good at cracking jokes, reason why i lost some of my blogger friends before. they might have found my posts too boring and dull.

what keeps me going is that i still have blogger friends (like you) who read what i’d like to express. coz after all, my goal in writing a certain post is to EXPRESS and not to IMPRESS…

true! these are the realities of blogging. your blog is nice. we cant be expert in all fields. we may laugh at some point or cry on another but its inevitable that we too could cater specific readers at specific time. others are looking for humor while others are looking for a concrete lesson, be it in matters of the heart or etc! i love that! pwede gawing motto!

“express not impress” impression is just an added bonus!
